Gutters

Gutters are horizontal drainage channels installed along roof edges to collect and redirect rainwater away from the structure. They are essential in Vancouver’s high-rainfall climate to prevent foundation damage, siding deterioration, soil erosion, and basement leaks. Gutters are commonly made from aluminum, steel, vinyl, or copper and come in multiple profiles. Proper installation and maintenance ensure efficient water flow and reduce blockage from debris. Functional gutters protect both the roof and the building envelope by controlling runoff and preventing uncontrolled water damage.
