Water Damage

Water damage refers to the deterioration of building materials caused by prolonged exposure to moisture entering through a compromised roof system. It can affect ceilings, walls, insulation, framing, and flooring. In Vancouver’s wet climate, water damage is a major concern when roofing systems are not properly maintained. Symptoms include staining, warping, mold growth, and structural weakening. If left untreated, water damage can lead to costly repairs and health hazards due to mold exposure. Preventing water damage requires proper roofing installation, regular inspections, and effective drainage systems.
