Synthetic Underlayment

Synthetic underlayment is a high-performance roofing layer made from engineered polymers designed to replace traditional felt paper. It offers superior strength, water resistance, and UV protection, making it ideal for Vancouver’s wet and variable climate. Unlike felt, synthetic underlayment does not absorb moisture and is less prone to tearing during installation. It provides a smooth, stable surface for shingles or metal roofing systems. Its lightweight nature improves installation efficiency while maintaining long-term durability. Synthetic underlayment is widely preferred in modern roofing systems due to its reliability, extended exposure rating, and enhanced protection against wind-driven rain.
